We celebrate International Women's Day today and every March 8.
In 2023, I feel it is more important than ever to celebrate and support women around the world, from all walks of life: From the stay-at-home mom (probably the hardest, most fulfilling and yet least appreciated), the CEO (you go girl!), the athletes (just wow), the teachers (what would we do without you!), scientists, the social fighters, to the impressionable young girl, starting to imagine what she wants her future to look like.
We owe it to these women, past and present, to our mothers, and finally to ourselves; to learn from their triumphs and struggles, and to continue their legacy of empowerment and progress.
And while there is still much work to be done, let’s also celebrate ourselves and each other beyond our external accomplishments.
It is our inner strength and natural beauty that sets us apart. Our ability to love fiercely, to empathize deeply, and to persevere through adversity is a testament to our resilience and determination.
It is important to take the time to care for ourselves, to nurture our bodies, minds, as well as our souls. Self-care is not a luxury; it is a necessity. It is the foundation upon which we build our strength, our confidence, and gives us our personal space to love ourselves.
When we take care of ourselves, we are better equipped to take on the challenges that life throws our way. We are better able to support those around us, to uplift and empower others around us, and to create positive change in our communities. I truly believe this.
So let us celebrate ourselves, our inner strength, and our beauty inside and out. Let us continue to support one another, to lift each other up, and to work together towards a better tomorrow. Let us not forget the power that we hold within, and the incredible impact that we can have on the world around us.
My mother, Mirtha (shout out to mom!), taught me it takes a village, and she is right, I and the ENSO HEMP ® Skincare family look forward to celebrating not only the women in our lives but to continue to strengthen the worldwide sisterhood. There is strength in numbers and love.
Here’s to you! Here is to all of us!
