Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is CBD good for your skin?
There are so many reasons why we chose to work with CBD in our formulations. So many reasons for what we call CBD's skin positive properties.
Some of those reasons are the early studies which have shown that anti-inflammatory properties found in CBD can be useful in aiding with eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis thus making it a powerful ally to help soothe sensitive skin, specifically with inflammation issues. CBD has also shown hydrating properties to help support skin hydration and when your skin is properly hydrated, it looks and feels its best, showing less wrinkles, coupled with anti-inflammatory properties found in hemp CBD, it's a solid choice for daily use on all skin types.
See below cited studies or references for full details.
2. Can CBD help aging skin?
Yes, hemp CBD is derived from the plant and has been found to have antioxidant properties. Antioxidants are substances that help protect the skin's surface from oxidative damage - this is caused by free radicals and environmental aggressors like UV and pollution. By aiding against free radicals' damage and reducing the appearance of inflammation, CBD serums and creams may visibly diminish wrinkles, dullness and uneven skin tone.

3. Can I apply CBD to my face?
Yes, you can. CBD or cannabidiol is a chemical compound taken from the cannabis plant BUT IT IS NOT psychoactive so no, you will not get a “contact high”. You may however benefit from hemp CBD’s function which may hydrate skin and support of anti-inflammatory properties to help with sensitive skin conditions. However, it is best to use a product from a CBD product specifically designed for topical use. As with any new products/ingredients introduced to your skin regimen, we highly recommend you do a small patch test first either on your wrist or back of ear, use a small amount and let it sit for a day to check for any reactions.
